Brand Story of VEVEZ

We started out to present you a new lifestyle…

VEVEZ was founded in the summer of 2019, starting with a special software design for restaurant management. Through these efforts, the first signals of VEVEZ came up. To expand on the project and turn it into a business plan, our team of experts came together and formed the VEVEZ team in the spring of 2020.

During the creation process of VEVEZ, users' stories, favorite applications, needs, priorities and opportunities were identified meticulously. With the same care and attention, a brand-new concept was created by choosing the features and design elements that complement VEVEZ.

Our team that has been involved in the entire development process of VEVEZ, tells the story of the application as follows;

“Many of us love to travel to different countries and experience different cultures. The biggest challenge during travels always occurs in restaurants. If you don't have a friend to give you references about the local menu in the country you're visiting, you're in trouble. Sometimes dealing with menus you can't even read or try to figure out with limited information, forces you to make a risky choice. All in all, you might miss out on a delightful dining experience that suits your taste.

The main starting point of VEVEZ is the search for a solution to this specific problem. We imagined such a system that wherever you go -both domestically and internationally- as a tourist, you can easily read the menu in your native language in any restaurant. It is very important to be able to see and understand what you will eat and drink, including the spices and sauces it contains. For instance, if the names of ingredients like pesto sauce or turmeric don't sound familiar when you read them, you should be able to access a reference, or as the old saying goes, reach a library where you can instantly obtain information about the ingredients with a single click. You should be able to filter out ingredients such as dairy products that are not suitable for your diet or that you are allergic to, as well as items like honey, peanuts, and paprika, and keep them out of the menu. You should also be able to obtain more information about beverages and quickly locate the nearest restaurant that can provide services you require, such as halal or kosher. You should be able to call the waiter with one click or place your online order yourself. Furthermore, it is your right to see all the prices on the menu in the currency of your own country. Losing the delightful taste on your palate due to time consuming processes such as waiting for the waiter, waiting for the bill, waiting for the change is simply not right.

Logo Story of VEVEZ

We would like to share the name and logo story of VEVEZ briefly for our users who may ask questions like “Why is your brand called VEVEZ? Does it have a special meaning?".

VEVEZ is not an abbreviation or an acronym for different words; rather, it is a name specifically created for this project. Aiming to be the new address of the food worldwide, it is unique in terms of its wording and has a melodic and memorable phonetic quality.

Our logo, designed using the letter V, which is the most emphasized letter of the word, consists of three layers. The top red layer -which tells the main story of the logo- is the “red tick” icon, signifying it will always meet your needs. The bottom layer of the logo is the letter V, which symbolizes VEVEZ. Finally, the light brown layer in between represents you, our users, that we embrace with our brand and reliability.
